Oh my. Once again, I allowed this place to collect virtual dust for over two years now.
After becoming increasingly annoyed of using (and updating) the Jekyll theme, I've had a look at Hugo. A few looks, once every few months, to be precise. With the last one, I tried to combine the site generating capabilities of Hugo with the formatting power of [Markdeep][markdeep].
In the end, Hugo felt superior to Jekyll in most regards, but just as impractical in others.
Enter [basis-site][basis-site]. Mario Zechner of [libGDX][libgdx] fame, in a serious infestation of NIH syndrome, decided to write a templating engine, with a static site generator on top. It looked interesting enough to give it a try. So, I sat down once more, and started to combine [basis-site][basis-site] with [Markdeep][markdeep] (and a splosh of the scourge of web development, style sheets).
Feast your eyes on the result of my endeavor!
